Do financial accounting/management accounting/financial analysis in a large mining company
Effort spent to achieve those goals
1. Learn as much as SAP functions and accounting in my current role
2. Attend events to train my networking skills and possibly meet someone in mining and get connected
3. Plan to advance my PowerBI skills
4. Look for opportunities for mentorship to guide my upskilling of hard skills and soft skills
5. Think and try different ways of communication in my workplace
Long term goals (3+ years)
Be a senior financial accountant/management accountant/financial analysis or lead a small team in a large mining company
Strengths and Weaknesses
Strength: resilient, curious, passion, like learning, like researching
Weakness: relatively new to Australia, feeling uncomfortable communicating with people (don't know how to react, what to say), English not as good as local so need to ask others to repeat, don't have much experience in local Accounting while being a CA menber with other people's high expectation
