Kenneth H. Blanchard
Haim Ozchakir
President & CEO
With over 20 years spanning diverse tech industries and sectors, Haim leads Mentor it Forward (MiF) with a blend of expertise and unwavering passion. He founded MiF in 2023, igniting a nationwide movement that connects aspiring professionals with experienced mentors. A seasoned leader with a global perspective, his diverse skillset spans technology, business, leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Fuelled by a desire to empower individuals, his leadership ensures MiF leaves no one behind in their career development journey.
Shane McCamish
Vice President
Shane has made a career as the owner of a small family business in the dental sector. Over the years, he has pursued various interests that required intensive learning, such as Martial arts, go-kart racing, golf, surfing, beach volleyball and hydro foiling. Undergoing large learning curves many times over, he has become interested in potential. What it takes to fulfil it, and what its emotional and psychological elements are. Shane is a Feldenkrais practitioner and served the community of practitioners by taking the role of President of the Feldenkrais Guild. It is his hope that with his diverse experience, he can contribute to the MIF community and help to create a platform that assists people fulfill some of their potential.
Dr. Lydia May Wong
Board Member
Dr. Lydia May Wong is an expert in sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) with over 20 years of experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Organisational Behaviour and a Master's Degree in Communication from Taylor's University, along with a Certificate in Sustainable Business from Cornell University. Dr. Wong has held pivotal roles including Chief of Staff, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility, and ESG Chair, where she established robust ESG strategies by creating the organisation's sustainability blueprint. Additionally, as a certified coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), she leverages her expertise to mentor and guide professionals in achieving sustainability goals and leadership excellence.
Ian Taylor
Secretary
Ian has over 20 years of experience in the Corporate, Government, Mining and Oil and Gas IT industries with expertise in Technical Writing / Editing and Business Analysis and Project Management. A certified Scrum Master, Ian is currently employed as a Senior Business Analyst at St John Ambulance where he is developing new emergency and clinical capabilities. Ian has joined his peers at Mentor it Forward to help build and deliver quality mentorship journey experiences while leveraging a community environment which is both professional, welcoming and accessible.
Angus Fry
Board Member
Angus has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology and Data Management, with a focus on Data Governance and Quality Management. Holding tertiary qualifications in Computer & Data Science and a Master's in Business Administration, Angus works in business value delivery through technology. He has worked across industries including Defence, Agribusiness, Finance & eCommerce, Government and Utilities. Passionate about sharing his academic skills, technical insights and life experiences through mentoring and working to encourage other mentors from a range of backgrounds to do the same. Angus leads the MiF mentoring expansion and promotion in South Australia.
Dorit Ozchakir
Treasurer
Dorit holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Business Psychology. Her primary areas of interest are mental health and safety, individual satisfaction, engagement, and performance within the workplace. With over 15 years of experience across various industries, Dorit is excited to offer her diversified skillset, expertise and knowledge to benefit MiF participants in their journey of mentorship, ultimately enhancing employment opportunities and fostering personal and professional development, while ensuring the maintenance of robust mental well-being.
Donna Plunkett
Board Member
With over 20 years in tourism, manufacturing, and community services, Donna is a Relationship Manager and Performance Coach at Veraison. She's developed and led mentoring programs targeting veterans, women in construction, and Indigenous communities, showcasing her deep commitment to inclusivity and professional and personal development. A passionate lifelong learner, Donna joins Mentor It Forward to broaden its impact, share her mentoring knowledge across diverse sectors, and drive transformative change.
