At ‘Mentor it Forward’, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed and grow in their chosen fields. We recognise the importance of experienced individuals paying it forward to help those who are just starting their journey or getting back on track.

Through our program, we connect aspiring professionals with seasoned mentors who willingly contribute their time, knowledge, and expertise to assist you in achieving your goals.

Our mentors come from diverse backgrounds and possess extensive experience in various industries. They have excelled in their careers and are passionate about sharing their insights and wisdom with emerging talents.

By tapping into this vast network of mentors, you'll gain access to practical advice, personalised guidance, and a supportive community that will propel you forward.

What sets ‘Mentor it Forward’ apart is our commitment to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for all mentees. We understand that each individual's journey is unique, and we tailor our mentorship matches accordingly.

Whether you're seeking advice on career planning, developing crucial skills, exploring new opportunities, or overcoming obstacles, our mentors will be by your side, offering their invaluable support.

A mentor is someone who sees more talent and ability within you, than you see in yourself, and helps bring it out of you.

What to Expect from the Program

When participating in ‘Mentor it Forward’ mentoring program, individuals can expect a structured framework that outlines goals, expectations, and a timeline for the mentorship. Regular meetings or interactions will take place, where the mentor and mentee discuss progress, set objectives, and exchange knowledge. Mentees should anticipate receiving personalised guidance, constructive feedback, and practical advice from their mentors. They can also expect opportunities for networking, skill-building, and self-reflection. Building a rapport, maintaining open communication, and committing time and effort is key to a successful mentoring experience.

It is important to understand that ‘Mentor it Forward’ Program is not the same as training. Your mentor is not there to tell you what to do or give explicit directions. Instead, their role is to empower you, offer valuable insights, share knowledge, and help you unlock your full potential.

Every mentee will take the lead by doing the following:

  • Begin every meeting with your mentor by setting the agenda for the discussion.

  • Establish measurable goals to be used as benchmarks for tracking progress.

  • Ensure that you are fully prepared for each meeting and arrive punctually.

  • Always ask for feedback so that you can learn and improve.

  • Recognise and appreciate the time and support provided by your mentor.

  • Set aside dedicated time to seek your Mentor's insights and guidance for the relationship.

We make a living by what we get,

but we make a life by what we give
