Expectations from the program and your mentor
Would like assistance to get into the cyber security field - build on the skills I've learned at the UWA bootcamp. Exercises how to be an excellent pen tester and to make the transition form a software developer to the security field.

Would like to work in the cyber security - field if I'm not able to secure a job as a junior pen tester or junior SOC analyst. Will look for a help desk job.
Effort spent to achieve those goals
For the last few months studying at UWA. Busy with a cybersecurity bootcamp.
Brushing up on Linux and the bash commands. After this will take the security+ exam.
Also been doing some exercises on "overthewire".
Long term goals (3+ years)
In three years - hopefully busy with pen testing or Soc Analyst.

Strength:
Determent to succeed.
Hard worker
Quick learner
Weakness:
Not always sure when to stop - working on that.
Balancing home life and work. (Tend to go more to work) Working on that.
Binary thinking - very logical. Working on seeing the gray as well.
