Dhruv Sehgal

Hi! I’m Dhruv, a Data Scientist at IBM with a passion for helping others unlock their potential in tech and data. My journey from India to Perth has been full of challenges, learning, and growth, and I’ve made it my mission to share those lessons with the next generation of professionals.

I hold a Master of Data Science and a Bachelor's in Computer Science, specialising in AI and Machine Learning, from Edith Cowan University. Along the way, I’ve navigated the real-world hustle, balancing multiple jobs, internships, and studies, so I know firsthand what it takes to turn opportunities into meaningful experiences.

As a mentor, I focus on career guidance, technical upskilling, problem-solving, and real-world application.

Outside of work, I embrace life with humour, curiosity, and a willingness to dive into new experiences. I encourage mentees to be bold, embrace challenges, and never underestimate the power of persistence.
